XE88: a slot lobby built around daily missions, star levels and bonus buttons

XE88 turned up later than most of the apps on this site (the original page here dates from 2019), and it shows. The lobby is brighter, the tiles are bigger, and there is a whole layer of missions, star levels and bonus buttons sitting on top of the games. None of that changes how the slots pay. It does change how easy it is to keep playing.

The top of the screen

In the top left corner is an avatar, your player ID, and BALANCE: 100.00 in this capture. Under the balance is a row of five stars, your player level. The XE88 logo, with a heart-shaped chip in the middle, sits at the centre. To its right a ticker scrolls other players' IDs and RM amounts, and a three-line menu button sits at the far right.

A "Categories" tab runs down the left edge. Tap it to filter the lobby instead of scrolling sideways through every tile.

The game tiles

The first tall tile is the Live Casino entrance. After it come the slots, two rows at a time. In this capture:

Every tile has both a NEW and a HOT ribbon, which makes the ribbons fairly meaningless. The number under each tile is that game's jackpot pool at the time. Several of these themes (buffalo, Wizard of Oz, unicorns) echo well-known land-based slot machines, and the games look designed to feel like them.

The bottom bar: where the extras live

This is the part that sets XE88 apart.

Daily Bonus

A gold coin button on the left reads DAILY BONUS 0/5. That is a set of daily missions, five of them, none completed. The old version of this page explained that completing missions and reaching betting targets earned points and stars. Missions like these nearly always require you to place a certain number or value of bets. Read the task before you chase it, and ask yourself whether you would have played that much anyway.

Next to it, a SOCIAL button for the friends and chat side of the app.

Special Bonus

In the middle, a red and gold SPECIAL BONUS panel with a counter, 891,856.82 here, surrounded by stacks of gold coins. It is the platform-wide jackpot display.

On the right, a red envelope marked with 福 opens the BONUS section. The 2019 page said stars could be spent on a lucky wheel or a mystery box.

How XE88 IDs and credit work

• An agent issues your XE88 ID and password.
• You pay the agent, who loads the same amount as credit. It shows as your balance.
• You play from that balance. Points and stars from missions are separate from it.
• To cash out, ask the agent for a withdrawal ("cuci"). They deduct the credit and pay you.

Change the password the first time you log in. The agent created it, so assume they know it. If you want to look at the lobby yourself, you can get an XE88 game ID from the provider this site links to.

Before you top up

• Log in first and check the balance is zero.
• Ask the agent how withdrawals work and what the minimum is today.
• If a mission or bonus is tied to your top-up, ask what turnover it requires before you can withdraw.
• Screenshot the balance at the start and end of each session.

Keeping sessions short

XE88's extras are built to bring you back daily. You do not have to finish the missions. Pick an amount, play it, close the app, and ignore the 0/5 counter.
