XE88 for Android and iPhone: what installing it involves

XE88 was a late arrival. Its download page went up in September 2019, more than a year after the rest of this section, and it never grew beyond two buttons: Android APK first, iOS second. There was no install guide and no screenshots, so this note keeps to what applies to any app of this type and what is specific to XE88.

The builds and why they are gone

Both files sat on 918.credit's own download server. They have been removed along with every other hosted build. Apps like XE88 are rebuilt regularly, and the old copies either refuse to log in or are signed with iPhone certificates that no longer exist. There is also no way to vouch for a file that has been left on a server for years.

If you want to play, ask for the current XE88 app link from the provider who issues your game ID, and install nothing that did not come from them directly.

Installing on Android

Open the APK once it is downloaded. Android will stop and ask whether your browser or file manager may install unknown apps. Allow it for that one install and then switch it back off. If Play Protect raises a warning and you are unsure of the source, cancel.

The old XE88 platform page recommended installing over mobile data so the app could update itself to the latest version. If your build does self-update, let it finish before logging in; a half-updated app is a common reason for a login that fails.

Installing on iPhone

The iOS build is signed with an enterprise certificate rather than coming from the App Store. The first time you tap it, iOS reports an untrusted enterprise developer. Trust that developer once under Settings > General > VPN & Device Management and the app will open. Apple can revoke that certificate at any time, at which point the app stops launching. Delete it and install a fresh build; your credit is held on the server, not the phone.

First login

The same platform page told new players to change their password the first time they log in. That is sound advice for any agent-issued ID, since the starting password has passed through someone else's hands. Pick one you do not use anywhere else.
