Play8oy app notes: installing Casino Play8oy 2 on phone and PC

On the phone, the app from this page shows up as Play8oy, with a pink "Casino Play8oy 2" icon. The name is a play on a famous magazine brand, and nothing in the app suggests a connection to it. It is a multi-game lobby app of the type common in Malaysia, handed out by agents along with a game ID.

What the 2018 page offered

Three builds: iOS, an Android APK and a Windows exe. The old text also said Play8oy was mobile-only and recommended running it through an Android emulator on PC, so even then the Windows file was a bit of an odd one out.

None of those files are on 918.credit any more. They were hosted here, they aged quickly, and a years-old installer is a poor thing to run on any device. If you need the app now, ask for the current Play8oy link from your account provider, and install only a file that came from them directly.

iPhone: the POLIMER prompt

The iPhone build is enterprise-signed. In the old screenshots the certificate belongs to "iPhone Distribution: POLIMER, OOO", a company name with no obvious connection to the game. It will not stay the same forever; certificates get replaced.

The first tap on the icon gets you this:

Cancel it and open Settings, then General. On current iOS the entry you want is VPN & Device Management; on the older version in these screenshots it sits just under VPN and already shows the developer's name greyed out beside it.

Tap it, tap the developer, tap Trust "POLIMER, OOO", and confirm in the second box. The Play8oy entry then reads Verified. That trust setting is the only change needed.

When it stops opening again

Apple revokes enterprise certificates regularly, and when it does, the icon goes back to refusing to launch or the app crashes on start. Your ID and credit are unaffected; they live on the server. Delete the app and install a fresh build from your provider.

Android and Windows

On Android the APK installs after you allow your browser to install unknown apps. Grant that for the one install, then turn it back off. Play Protect may warn about the file; if the link did not come straight from your provider, take the warning seriously.

For Windows, ask whether a PC build is still maintained before you look for one. If you do run an installer, scan it first, and do not give it admin rights it has no reason to need.

After the login screen

Once you are in, the left-hand game menu splits the lobby into Fishing, Slots, Arcade, Casino and Live. The Casino tab is where Play8oy differs from most slot-first apps. Dragon Tiger and two Super Sic Bo tables run as timed rounds: you join a table, get a short countdown to bet, then see the result. The Dragon Tiger table in the old screenshots shows limits of 200 to 100K and pays 11:1 on a tie and 50:1 on a suited tie.
