Mega888 on Android and iPhone: builds, trust prompt and fixes

Mega888 installs the way the other apps on this site do: from a file your provider sends, not from a store. The old 2018 version of this page had three buttons, and the split between the two iPhone builds is still worth explaining because people keep asking about it.

The three Mega888 builds

• iOS 64-bit, listed for iPhone 5s, 6, 6 Plus, 7, 7 Plus, 8, 8 Plus and X, plus iPad Air and iPad mini 2 onward.
• iOS 32-bit, for iPhone 5 and older.
• Android APK.

If your phone was made in the last several years, the 32-bit question does not apply to you. Every iPhone that can run current iOS is 64-bit.

No files hosted here

Those buttons pulled files straight from 918.credit. They have been removed on purpose. Mega888 is rebuilt regularly, older APKs stop logging in, and iPhone builds die when the certificate behind them is withdrawn. With a years-old installer there is also no way to know it is still the file that was originally uploaded.

To install today, ask for the current Mega888 download link from your account provider and use nothing else.

The certificate name that confuses people

Here is where Mega888 is a good example. The first time you open the iPhone app, iOS blocks it and names the developer.

In these screenshots the certificate is registered as "iPhone Distribution: China Southern Airlines Company Limited", the name of a real airline. There is no reason to think the airline has anything to do with the game. Enterprise certificates for apps like this are obtained under whatever company name is available, and they are swapped when one is revoked. The name is a label on the certificate, nothing more, so do not read anything into it.

To let the app run: tap Cancel, go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management, tap the developer under Enterprise App, tap Trust and confirm. After that, the screen lists Mega888 under the developer with the word Verified beside it.

When Mega888 stops launching

This is the most common Mega888 complaint. The app worked yesterday and today it will not open, or it opens to a blank screen. That is almost always a revoked certificate. Delete the app, get a fresh link, reinstall and trust the new developer name, which will probably be different.

Android

Tap the downloaded APK. Android asks you to allow installs from that source; allow it, install, then disable that permission again in Settings. If Play Protect objects and you are not certain where the file came from, do not install it.

Reading the bet line before your first spin

The lobby itself is split into single games, online (timed table) games and recently added titles. Inside a slot, check how the bet is counted.

In Yin & Yang the BET box says 120, and small text at the top says 3 bet per line. Forty lines at 3 each is 120 credits per spin, taken from a balance of 9529. The same stake on one line would be 3. That difference is the whole session.
